When I'm between contracts I like to keep myself up-to-date by working on projects of my own, exploring new technologies and skills or bolstering existing ones.

Eye On MOGS

A re-engineering of an old web property of mine using modern tools and frameworks.

Eye On MOGS provides pricing information for virtual currency products by crawling a set of web pages and extracting product information on a daily basis.

Symfony 2 Doctrine 2 AngularJS Bootstrap REST XPath

Todo Application

The venerable Todo Application as an example CRUD application, in this case with responsive front-end courtesy of Bootstrap and a SPA structure from AngularJS.

All supported by a RESTful API implemented with the FOSRestBundle in Symfony 2.

//Commercial Experience

I've worked as a web developer for SMEs for 10 years in many different capacities - contract, full time and self employed.

This varied career has provided me with the opportunity to work as a full-stack developer and to contribute on projects from requirements gathering to delivery. .

Swift Managed Technology (Contract)

Filling a gap in resource I worked with Swift to develop new features in their warehouse management system to simplify and standardise import and export processes.
